While enjoying Rêves d'automne, Festival of Painting, treat yourself to some excellent regional fare. Over the years, Baie-Saint-Paul has built up quite a reputation for fine dining. The same warm atmosphere can be found at the numerous terraces in the heart of town.

On premises that date back to 1906, Restaurant Bistro Le Mouton Noir opened April 2 1976. The only patio on Baie-Saint-Paul’s Rivière du Gouffre.

From classics like Organic Shoulder of Pork en Cocotte (1st Prize ? 2009 Route de l’Érable) to more recent culinary creations such as Fingerling Potato Salad with Rang St-Antoine Smoked Salmon, Chef Thierry Ferré and his brigade concoct generous fare bursting with flavours and freshness.

Alsatian Chef Steve Michel and his wife Eve Soulard are genuine foodies who treat you to an authentic culinary experience, in a warm and friendly atmosphere. To the sound of an old jazz tune, you’ll be welcomed by the manageress ? a singer by profession who on occasion, removes her apron to deliver a few old-time favourites. As you enter, enjoy the rich aroma of long-simmered dishes prepared with finesse and devotion.

Located in the heart of downtown Baie-Saint-Paul, MicroBrasserie Charlevoix's restaurant, the Saint-Pub, offers simple yet quality fare. The dishes are prepared using regional products and homemade beer.

Choose from smoked meat marinated in beer and smoked on site, smoked chicken, mussels, grilled meats, all served À La Carte or in Table d'Hôte fashion, and presented in a relaxed and homely atmosphere.
